Djelibeybi Sojourn: Part 1 -- Scaling the Cliffs of Madness

• Thuggoon: Nimrod's new shadow spawn enforcer and body guard, assigned to Nimrod by Kas Enterprises as protection against violent Unicorns, undead Paladins, and any others who might seek to injure Nimrod.

This is the team's first outing at level 8.

This Week's Adventure

We decided to go to Djelibeybi, a location in the desert, to intercept the events mentioned in the letter.

We go into the desert.  We get caught in a bad, dusty sand storm.  Up ahead we glimpse a patch of blue sky above a high rocky plateau.  One of its spires is close enough to tower over us as we get close enough.

7 gargoyles attack as chumba is under the flying spell and is carrying nimrod up

devora polymorphed chumba into a great ape after a gargoyle halved her hp

nimrod turned chumba and himself invisible.  nimrod then teleported to the top of 

plateau

nimrod summoned fear shadowspawn

blue dragonborn knights blew lightning -- hit lucinia and nimrod separately

they had 4 heavy crossbow + mace armed thugs
